Options
Whichever you opt for the format is essentially the same, only the location is different. I always spend some time getting to know your dog - and your chosen location if it isn't one of my regular settings.
It could be your garden and/or an open space near you, or for small dogs it could well be inside - my mother's dachsunds always prefer this and regard me as insane if I ask them to go outside (two refuse, one complies). I then photograph, trying to get a range of typical expressions as well as those that show off the beauty of the dog. Above all I am trying to capture character. So we have:
Option 1
I travel to you or a setting of your choice.
Option 2
You travel to Bosham or Wittering and I photograph using the location as a background.
What happens after your photographic session?
After the shoot I spend a considerable time on the computer getting the best out of the pictures. When I've finished I'll forward to you a DVD of all the images, with the right to view onscreen and to make as many copies as you like. Alternatively, you can choose to have hard copy pictures. Once I know your choices I'll have them printed at my lab and then forward them to you. I can also offer albums and books as a way of enjoying the pictures.
Things to be aware of
In this litigious age I have to point out that you are responsible for your dog as always and for his or her compliance with the law - as their owner you will know where and when they can be let off the lead and what their behaviour is likely to be. Copyright of the photographs always remains with the photographer. Do please ask if you have any questions.
Clearly the fee level will depend on which option you would like - and how far I have to travel - so either ring or fill in the form on the contact page.
